The long wait is over.

She came as a gift

from heaven’s blessing.

My child,

You are my strength and rest

for in your smile alone

renews my will to live.

A tearful joy

when I heard that first cry.

My life begins again the moment

you came. 

A gentle squeeze, A gentle tap,

those little hands of yours

so soft and fragile.

Hold everything all at once. 

Tiny little thing

The purest joy a life could bring

I’m your  Mom. I can’t help but smile

you make me wonder all the things

you can be someday.

But, For now be just my baby

don’t rush growing up on me

I want to cuddle and snuggle

and tease you whenever.

What a life is worth

but to be a mother

of a lovely child in this world.

You give me a better meaning

of what it is to live, a new start,

a life with someone I could love forever

without hesitation.
