School life…

It’s been 2 years since I bid adieu to you but yet haven’t forgotten the lessons you taught me through the hard way of course. It’s said that school life is the best life a child lives; back in school I thought it was just a line but now in graduation, I know the importance this one simple line holds. The lessons one learns at school prepare one to fight the world at college and job level and stay with the person till the person continues to live.

I still remember the first day I stepped into you to learn something valuable and important lesson of life. You welcomed me with warm hands and a hug from almost all the loving teachers and caring friends. I entered the school in tears for I didn’t want to leave my mother but left the school again in tears but along with some humans who are no less than gems and those who care for me and love me as though I am a part of their family.

As days passed by, you saw me not only laugh with friends but also cry buckets of tears when I was hurt by someone’s harsh words or when I hurt myself while playing in the corridors during recess. When I was alone, you promised to be there behind me so that I didn’t feel lonely when my best friend was absent.

The individual I have grown into is all because of you for it was all your efforts that have turned me into an independent confident young woman who knows what she wants and won’t stop hustling till she’s got her dreams fulfilled and goals achieved.

In the end, all I’ll like to say is thank you for making me ready to fight the selfish rude heartless world which focuses more on competition rather than one’s comfort. Hope I’ll be able to visit you soon and once again feel the warmth I used to feel when I last bid adieu to you on my farewell.
