I went to a new college campus at noon, awash with morning rain, lovely breeze all around, with abundant greenery, that seemed so welcoming.

This is familiar to rural environs, equally charming with lush green fields everywhere during monsoon. 

What a relief from the grueling months of summer, not just in terms of weather, but also in the hard work put in by the 12th board students.

I bade a loving goodbye to my daughter, who secured a seat in a city college, as well as in its hostel. Felt proud that a farmer’s daughter had qualified for higher education.
