My world isn’t beautiful (laughs), oh I know you wanted to hear the word “not that”no man, that makes it a lie cause my world is really not beautiful, it’s just like a black and white era as if I’m colorphobia, I don’t know when, how, who, what can paint my world to beautify it thus I just blend with the black and white era… Having trust issues and a lot in mind.
We all never thought or dreamt of meeting each other.
It was the day after a meeting with my boss, “Alright so, as we discussed, you’ve got two weeks to bring in those new workers, I mean the ones that are worth the position” my boss said.
So that’s when it all started, I was given the task to hire people for that particular month. I went on to delay cause I found it to be tiring, browsing through all social media, checking through if they’re fit for such work
Gradually, a week passed, and I hired a lot of the workers per the boss’ words. Even though I found it tiring and it was fun to do it, you know it’s just business.
My position as the assistant to my boss made me feel so Superior and not think of getting an interest in being in anything with anyone.
I’d just close from work, go home, get online, and browse till I get arrested by sleep. It has been a while since the new workers were employed. According to the work rules, they’re to submit a picture and name to be used for a flyer to elect who is to lead each group.
I announced this information to each one and that badge made the work easier. They Will send their pictures and I’ll push it to the digital media director.
“I’ve received the pictures, I’ll proceed with the flyers” he replied.
I’m already tired of this job, I sighed! I took my glasses off and went to have my shower.
The date for the selection of leaders was due, I had my eye on a particular talented guy based on what I saw while hiring, all in my head I had thought he was going to win.
We started viewing each other’s status. To be honest, I didn’t know his real name. It was just our work titles that we used to address each other only if there was information or anything related to work.
To my surprise at the end of it, SOK that’s the title I know, he didn’t even try to get people to choose him as a leader, I didn’t bother to ask because I thought it’d be a nuisance. The plan to vow for the leaders was arranged, we congratulated everyone and went ahead with the swearing-in of the leaders. Everything went well, SOK started to view my status then, he’d reply and I did the same since we both loved memes and other funny videos and pictures.
Funny, I can’t really recall how things moved so fast, we made a good introduction, and I got to his name, that’s the longest name I’ve ever heard, it’s still funny whenever I remember his full name.
We took things to the next level with the hope it would get to an official stage where I’m going to use all his cute and funny names.
I told him how worried I was, and what if things change but as always his words are assuring.
“don’t worry that’s why I’m saying just take your time with it, trust issues might be your problem though,” he said.
I know I’d have loved to live in the dark but it’s best to have someone to paint your world, someone to assure and brighten up your part.
The opposite does attract… I can’t express how happy I am and can’t wait to see him.
