Point blank! She had nothing further to add. Adamant and obdurate, she was anything but in the mood to listen to anyone. After having a tough day, all she wanted was, for the night to be over, although she wasn’t sure how the next day was going to treat her. “Waiter, get me the bill,” she shouted! The waiter, who was listening to her cribbing and complaining, and now seeing her sitting in utter silence, had a smile throughout on his face!
“What’s with this smile of yours, she asked! How can you be in your best behavior after all that I have told you, she remarked!”
“I am glad you realize that yourself, sure you had a bad day and you needed someone to vent out at and it gives me pleasure to be that someone”, he remarked! She was stunned by his response. Tickles and a few butterflies in her stomach as she felt a pull towards him. With an urge to know more about him, she asked, how he is so composed and calm, to which he replied, “It’s a choice I make, to remain in my natural self, irrespective of what the situation is.” Again impressed with his reply, she began to forget what a rough day she had. Being absolutely in love with this conversation, she was in awe of the person she had just met.
“Here is your bill,” he kept the bill on the table, and a post-it note along with it. With curiosity at its peak, she reads it, “As a tip, I would like to see you smile, if you can please!” Helpless with his request, she begins to drench in this known emotion all over again, which was untouched by her for a long time. She smiles, to which he smiles. An exchange of feelings takes place between the two as they look intensely into each other’s eyes. In this moment, two bodies are romantically attracted, and two souls are deeply connected. Two very opposites, are now on the same page, at Point Blank!!
