LEARNING TO COOK

LEARNING TO COOK

Learning to cook,

Is truly an art,

You have to be interested,

To play your part.

If a chef is something,

You really want to be,

Then you’ve got to work hard,

And follow the rules diligently.

Try to bake an apple pie,

The day your mom is out,

And if the crust turns out great,

“Yippee!” you can shout out loud!

Then you can try to bake some bread,

Or a delicious chocolate cake,

A healthy snack for your loved ones,

Is something you can make.

The joy of cooking is learned and shared,

And it unites the young and old,

Cooking is “Love made edible”,

This has been rightly told.

A MasterChef will remark,

Food Display is part of his skill,

Whereas a cook will just cook,

And present for a bill.

The difference between a cook and chef,

Is a passion that lies in their heart,

To stand all day and sweat away,

For the love of great flavours combined in art!
