“Vacate the house as Brijlal hasn’t paid rent for three months,” ordered the house owner, to Brijlal’s family. 

Brijlal had passed away a day before, out of the heart attack he’d suffered due to bankruptcy. He had left behind his wife and two teenage children.

At his friend’s suggestion, Brijlal invested a large amount of money in a Chit-fund company. His wife had warned him about such companies, but he ignored her.

Two days back, the Chit-fund company’s proprietor locked his office and fled the city, devastating Brijlal. Now his wife sold her jewels as a payback to vacate.
