Solution to World Peace

World Peace is something that the entire world desires. The current geopolitical situation is a proper depiction of what happens when violence is chosen as the response to an ongoing conflict for years. The conflict between Iran and Israel is like sour milk, something that has been continuing now for decades. Now that the entire world is being brought into the West Asian conflicts via the problem regarding LPG gas shortage, alongside the safe passage of crude oil vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, the effects of war are being brought to light. As Wilfred Owen penned in his verses, ‘the pity of war ‘is still quite a relevant concept.

The sinking of the Iranian vessel in international waters, near Sri Lanka, triggered Iran to respond aggressively to the passage of crude oil-bearing vessels across the Strait of Hormuz. With the vast outbreak of news across various mediums and news channels regarding the matter, all incongruous, unrelated and of varying nature, it is highly unreliable to depend on any source of information as the penultimate source of truth. The ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and America sparked flames all across the Middle East, be it in Dubai or in Tehran. Following the release of the horror to humanity called the ‘Epstein Files,’ the horror of pedophilia and suggested cannibalism is the conglomerated horror of humanity against crimes committed against all humanity.

War is never the solution to any conflict. The release of the forbidden files was the first stepping stone towards the currently ongoing conflict. This timeline was apparently around 2025. Cutting around to 2026, March, the conflict is continuous in the Middle East and West Asia, consequently. The war should not take a further turn, only to avoid the worst. Fear-mongering is also a common occurrence, generally in cases of war, and was noticed during the COVID-19 pandemic as well.

The world has already witnessed two World Wars. The scale of destruction post both was highly massive on a large scale. The world lost faith in humanity, believing it to be dead. The atom bomb, the ash, and the corpses were all part and parcel of the consequences of war. The establishment of the United Nations was primarily to establish peace in the world and to resolve global conflicts easily. The bombing at Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the war crimes of Japan over Korea are proof of the crimes of war.

Wars have been happening since the dawn of civilization. Since the existence of humanity, humans, particularly men, have fought wars to protect their land and community. Till date, wars have taken place to resolve political conflicts between both nations. World problems are discussed at the global level and resolved on a global level as well. The wartime politics is really strict in the current geopolitical scenario. The solution to war should be a truce, without further bloodshed. Peace should prevail throughout the world. The solution to war is mutual understanding between nations.

‘War and Peace‘ is a novel written by Leo Tolstoy. The novel delves deeper into the themes of war and peace, and how war and peace are paradoxical identities. The novel is based on the era of Catherine the Great, which was almost a contemporary historical event. The novel tells the story of five families. The five families are as stated – the Bezhukovs, the Bolkonskys, the Rostovs, the Kuragins, and the Drubetskoys, precisely, besides other individual and collective characters too. Set predominantly in the 18th century, the book depicts how the war affects everyone to a certain extent.
