Northern Parts of India. Uttarakhand, Punjab, Noida, Greater Noida and Chandigarh. Heavy rain is experienced in all these regions. 

The Yamuna is flowing above the danger level causing problems to the people living in the lower level. areas around the river.

Many were evacuated to safer places. Poor people lose their homes and things.

Heavy rain is set to continue to pound parts of the state on Wednesday and Thursday after a brief relief on Tuesday as per the prediction by the Indian Metrological Department( IMD). Despite a delayed onset of monsoon, the state had already received higher rainfall as compared to the last year. The Indian Express reported Visuals of waterlogged roads and civic issues capturing people’s plight.

On Monday, Idar in Sabarkantha was inducted as it recorded 140mm of rain, the highest in the state till 6 pm. Over 183 talukas across the state received rain on Monday as per official data.

While heavy showers have not been predicted for Tuesday, southern and Saurashtra districts are again likely to receive heavy rain between July 12 and July 14th( Friday). Similarly on July 13 it stated heavy rain( is likely) in the districts of Dahod, Chota Udhepur, Surat, Navsari, and Tapi and the district of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath and Bhavnagar. 

Delhi downpour: 200+ waterlogging complaints received on two roads cave-in, including Rohini Sector 22_23 we’re reported as rain pelted Delhi for the second Day in a row on Sunday.

The City has seen more rain over the weekend than usually does over the whole of July. According to IMD data, the city gets 195.8mm of rainfall in July. But between Saturday and Sunday morning, it received 153mm of rain, breaking a 41-year_ record for the month for the most amount of rain received in 24 years. On Sunday alone, it saw 105.8mm of rain.

In neighboring Ghaziabad, the NDRF was called in to rescue residents who got trapped following waterlogging in a Colony.

In Daulat Nagar under Tronic city police station. As of 11 pm, about 15 people were evacuated. Officials said there are about 10 feet of water in the colony.

In Delhi, nearly 230 incidents of waterlogging were witnessed across the city including major stretches such as ITO, Lajpat Nagar, 1 August Kranti Marg Sundar Ring Road, and even Shanti. Path in Chankyapuri.

In Ludhiana, dyeing units asked to shut operations till further notice.
