Can’t catch up with the world!

My legs are tied,
While the world runs fast.
Try as I might,
Can’t seem to run that fast.

They are flying by,
And I’m still pushing hard,
Pushing hard.

Just like the world turns around,
My wheel goes round and round.
Barely scraping by,
Still moving, moving.

Do you know about the hare and tortoise?
And how the slow have a voice,
So I’m saying my piece,
By not running,
Not running.
