Right to education Freedom of expression Priviledge to take a decision Neither curbing their ambition Nor subjecting them to opposition Rather than giving them their due recognition Are the best gifts we can pledge to our daughters More than limiting them in the safety of our boundations We need to inculcate in ourselves Trust, Confidence, and Conviction in them Our daughters are ready to fly
So on this daughter’s day Let’s not pledge for them their wings But try and open up the sky For they too know very well How to spread there wings and fly
They don’t need wings, they just need the sky for they too know how to fly!
