Craving Peace

Craving Peace
Craving Peace

Craving peace in every single thing,

I’ve gone through every single string

Of life and strife;

To let the wings of anguish fly high,

Enduring the embers dwelling up into the sky.

Keeping myself busy all the time,

My broken self yearns for a glime

Of heal and feel;

To carry a string of strength,

Through the clouds of onerous length.

Breaking down to the edge,

I often find myself disconnected by the hedge,

Of ignorance and tolerance;

Wondering all the peace which I deserve, Have I kept as a reserve?
