India’s medal tally has now reached 17 medals at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. After the seven medals already covered, India has added another ten medals across shooting, soft tennis, weightlifting, badminton, rowing, wushu and athletics. These latest results include three silver medals and seven bronze medals.
Shooting has once again contributed several medals to India’s tally. Parinaaz Dhaliwal, Raiza Dhillon and Maheshwari Chauhan won the bronze medal in the women’s skeet team event. The trio put up a strong performance to finish on the podium and add another medal to India’s shooting tally.
India also won a bronze medal in the men’s skeet team event. Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Bhavtegh Singh Gill and Mairaj Ahmad Khan represented India in the event and secured the bronze medal. Their performance added another team medal for the country in shooting.
Jay Meena brought India a bronze medal in soft tennis. He won the medal in the men’s singles event, giving India a podium finish in the sport. His achievement added a new sport to India’s growing medal tally at the Games.
Weightlifting brought another silver medal for India through Mirabai Chanu. She won silver in the women’s 49kg event. The experienced Indian weightlifter once again produced a medal-winning performance on the Asian Games stage.
India’s badminton team also secured a bronze medal. Team India won the medal in the men’s team event, adding to the country’s success in racquet sports at Aichi-Nagoya.
Rowing produced another bronze medal for India. Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won bronze in the men’s double sculls. The pair’s performance gave India another podium finish and added rowing to the list of sports contributing to the latest medal haul.
In wushu, Roshibina Devi won the silver medal in the women’s 60kg sanda event. Her performance earned India another silver and added to the country’s medal tally.
Shooting contributed yet another medal through the mixed skeet team event. Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won bronze, giving India another podium finish in shooting. Both shooters had already featured in India’s medal-winning performances in the skeet team events.
Athletics then added two more medals to India’s tally. Seema Kumari won bronze in the women’s 10,000m, securing a place on the podium in the long-distance event.
The Indian athletics team also won silver in the mixed 4×400m relay. Team India finished with the silver medal, bringing another medal to the country’s tally and adding a strong finish to this latest set of results.
With these ten new medals, India’s overall tally has now reached 17 medals at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. The latest results have seen Indian athletes and teams succeed across a wide range of sports, from shooting and weightlifting to badminton, rowing, wushu and athletics.
