A somber night in the Pandava camp. Lord Krishna was in meditation. Suddenly a shadow blocked his view.
Lord opened his eyes to meet the firey yet pleading eyes of Draupadi. She came with an urge to participate in the battle next day.
Her pensive yet firm voice uttered,” I am traded, humiliated by men. Now they are raging a battle in my name. And I ,the fire born, Draupadi can’t avenge herself?”
Krishna: But Sakhi! Its a battle.
Draupadi: More so. You asked Arjuna to pray to Devi Durga, a female deity or the embodiment of war? Women are born warriors. Govind.
Krishna: very well. Then this time i will be your charioteer to usher in the change.
Next day, Draupadi’s courage resonated far. She slayed Dushana and rinsed her hair with his blood herself.
at evening lord came to a battle torn yet radiant draupadi to tend her wounds with the piece of cloth she once tied his finger with. Draupadi was overwhelmed to see his tear filled eyes.
Then lord spoke, “it’s an pledge of a brother to tend the sisters’ battle scars with his affection, but never to refrain her from raging her battles in name of crippling and smothering protection.”
