There are many things that you can do when you are feeling bored and all alone. Here is a list of things you can do when you are very bored of the routine.
1. Watch your childhood movie.
Enjoy the dialogues that you love and feel the childhood moments that you spent watching the movie.
2. Read your favourite book.
Yes, you can read your favourite book innumerable times and enjoy the scenes of love, laughter, and the feelings and emotions of the book.
3. Take a Bubble bath or go for a swim.
You can enjoy the bubbles coming out from the soap while having a bath. You can also go for a swim or take diving lessons in summer. You can try the various strokes of swimming and enjoy the coolness of the water.
4. Try a new recipe.
Why not hit the Kitchen and try a new recipe that you saw on YouTube? It’s a very good idea to try a new recipe, of the dish that you always buy from outside. It will bring a change to the everyday dishes and you can also add your flavour to it.
5. Declutter your closet.
You must declutter your closet so that you can be clear in your head as to what to wear. Give away old clothes, fold the available clothing neatly, and place them in your cupboard in the right arrangement.
6. Video Call Friends and Family.
You should video call your friends and family once in a way to feel their presence.You can catch up with eachother and enjoy precious moments of each other’s presence.
7. Treat Yourself Icecream.
Head to the ice cream parlour and treat yourself to the favourite flavour of your ice cream. You can also Indulge in two ice cream if you please.
8. Try Drawing something new.
Enhance your creative skills and draw something new. Take out your colour pencils, and sketches and paint something interesting, appealing, and new. It keeps you busy and in the end, you feel satisfied.
9. Write Poetry.
This is my favourite, I love finding rhyming words, and new topics to write poetry on. It keeps me busy and my mind working. I try writing an essay or a story or a poem at least to enhance my writing skills everyday.
10. Make a Bucket List.
Make a bucket list of the things you would like to do in life one by one.
Try to achieve them one by one in your life span. In this way, you will make an effort to move ahead in the future and see different places.
11. Try Photography.
You can pictures of the sunrise and the sunset or beautiful flower pots in your garden, or a squirrel or a cat that you see daily. You can click a picture of the birds eating food on your wall or go to the beach or park and click beautiful pictures.
12. Go for shopping.
Shopping enhances your curiosity to buy new things and to also discover new things that come in the market. Go shopping with your children. Buy a new dress, or a new household item, or children’s toys.
There are many other things that you can do. The list can go on… like going to the spa, going to the beauty parlour, changing your hairstyle, deleting old mail, chatting with friends, Learning a new dance step, listening to your favourite music, Learning to podcast, Singing a song, etc. You can also plan a holiday with your friends.
