What do you all think the moment you heard Travel or Journey?

…….let me guess! Different places, food, culture, history, people, etc.

A few of my friends said they think about window seats, wind, music, and rain,  I agree I also prefer these but the first thing I would think about is, my companions. In my lifetime I didn’t get many chances to travel around but every chance that I got gives me a different type of joy. With family, it was like exploring the place and culture of the places in a narrow path with a fixed destination. But when it comes to friends I feel like a horse without a leash. No need to narrow down the paths or restrict my steps yet I wasn’t lost from the group either. We broaden our sights to take a whole lot in.

When I was in middle school I went to the theme park with my family it was my first time. I was so ecstatic we were exploring the rides and having fun. My uncle brought me to a ride while my mom went to the restroom. which I don’t know how it worked. It may seemed like a dangerous one for those who haven’t ridden, even though I felt kinda scared while riding it. as I am unaware of how it worked either. But mom might have panicked, so the moment I got down I got a hard slap from her, that Slap gave me another wave of panick then it took away the joy to explore more. Like this every time I need to be in cautious around my family to not give them heart attacks. But that cautiousness is taking away the fun and joy of being reckless or less cautious.

I agree safety is our priority that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy ourselves, right? Just because that ride looked dangerous doesn’t mean they are unsafe because workers at every ride confirmed our age before letting us ride. But that slap didn’t make me stop riding that ride because few years later with my friends or again with my Family I made sure to ride it.

That’s why I say a travel companion is a must. Those places may hold years of history but it can’t be special if we are not with someone so special with us.
