Handicapped

Handicapped

A tragedy befell and she lost her leg

But mercy she refused to beg

Filling her lungs with positive breath

She braced herself to go to any length

She knew if she chose to rest she would rot

She would fight back she thought

Nothing could stop her dreams

To win she could go to any extemes

She won’t lament and shed tears on her state

And refused to compromise with her fate

Despite whatever way she would suffer

She decided to compete with others

She may be physically disabled

But her indomitable courage has converted her disability to ability

She has now put her foot on the ground

And accepted the challenge with energetic rebound .
