There is snow outside, cold and white
Contrasting the warmth you provide me;
The lights hang outside to light the way
Yet we chose to switch to darkness.
Feeling cozy and warm in this winter
I admire the fact that you are here;
To give me the warmth this hill couldn’t,
And to introduce butterflies to nature.
I was promised no more lonely nights,
And vibrant chili nights to be admirable;
You kept up your promise like the noble
To-be-king of my wildest cold kingdom.
Even with the ice devil inscribed in me,
You treated me with only kindness;
Providing a beautiful shield caging me
You saved both the kingdom and me.
