HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY

To say the truth, there’s nothing more specific, 

Being a teacher is a holy honorific. 

Of course, parents are our first ever Guru, 

But they’re a lot of people in life, we run through. 

Everyone here is a master to us, from whom we learn anything, 

They all put their little efforts – to make us something. 

So it will be a little platitude, 

If we only honor and respect - 

Parents, relatives, teachers, lecturers, 

But a lot out there, whom we neglect. 

The book that teaches us to differentiate - 

Difference between good and bad, 

The childhood friend who made us learn

How to hold a wooden bat,

The siblings who always fight,

But never let us face alone the difficulty, 

Even the animals once we fed – 

Stay by us showing sincerity. 

How can we even forget? 

The native place, our motherland, 

The trees of the forest make us live, 

By providing everything for our stand. 

This rude world has a bunch of mentors, everyone here is a Guide, 

We should indebt to everything that helps us make our high pride. 

All the people, who helped me or going to help, 

The only thing to you, I want to say – 

Help others as you helped me all the way

And with courtesy, I wish you all –
