Raksha Bandhan is one of the most beautiful Indian festivals.
On this day brother and sister exchange promises, sisters tie a thread on the wrist of the brother, and in return, the brother promises her sister to give her all happiness, and protection and be present with her in all her good and bad. It’s just not a thread, it’s a faith that a sister has in his brother.

I too have a younger brother. We have a huge age gap of 7 years. I always want a promise from him to take care of our parents well and he is keeping this promise very well. Whenever and wherever I need him, he is always present. Though he is younger than me but always acts like a big brother. Unlike all other festivals, I wait for this festival the most.
“If you have a brother or sister, tell them you love them every day — that’s the most beautiful thing.†These are the words told by Amaury Nolasco. Always try to express your love for them because not all people can read minds and this festival gives you the best chance to express your feeling to your brother or sister.
Happy Raksha Bandhan!
