Outside Cover Can Be Different

Do not go by the cover of the book.” A common saying.

Until you read the last line of a book, never come to a conclusion. This is true as the book may be depicting feelings on various issues of a family or a society or may be a murder mystery.

I feel this applies to our thinking about the various individuals we come across in our lives from any status of the society. Many times, we come to a conclusion about people we meet without knowing them well.

Looking at them from their outside behaviour, we judge them rightly or wrongly, and then later regret that.

Knowing anyone before judging

Let us begin with a family.

A joint family.

In olden years, people normally lived in a joint family. The young, growing girls may have been molested by uncles, but they could not raise their voices against them. The uncles may roam around freely as though all is well. The girls were told to keep mum.

It is considered taboo.

City life

When many villagers moved to city life, nothing much changed. Many faced double-faced people in their lives. Some good masters of the house misbehaved with the maids which their wives witnessed, we tintoretto went through depression and had mental issues. The children hadn’t faced the odd situation. Even though that lady dared to speak about it, no one listened to her. A silent bearer of the suffering.

Proposals for Marriage, an arranged marriage.

Arranged marriage was prevalent in our time. Yes, some worked out well, and some somehow managed to silently bearing the difficulties faced silently. A very few broke up, and their marriage went haywire. “ No one knows the happenings beyond the keyhole.”

Yes, this is true, as faces can depict false emotions.

However, some fall prey to such people’s intentions.

This has been so long since the Ramayan and Mahabharat years. People could not read the face and mind of others. We have heard and read about the destruction created by war.

Friendship

One fails to understand their friends. When in difficulty, one sees the true face of friends. It may be vice versa, too. But very rarely does this happen.

Many of us must have heard them say, “Oh! He or she has ditched me at this prime age and let out all my childhood secrets.” The long friendship goes haywire.

But still life goes along.

Books

When we visit a bookstore, we stroll to different shelves to look for that perfect book we were looking for. Finally, we heaved a sigh of relief. “Yes, I got it.” Proudly, you pick up that and come and sit relaxedly to open the book and read. When, after turning a few pages, you realize the cover was deceptive, and the content was not what you expected.

Later, you look for another book, and the circle keeps rolling in finding that perfect book.

The Office Environment

In any office or in any school, reading faces is difficult to read and a lot of incidents happen and many go into depression.

The House Helpers

At times, we get overwhelmed with the simplicity and innocence of the house helpers and overload things. Later, we regret the decision, as they do not show sincerity.

We should be careful, we have been told since childhood, but many things are in our hands.

Anyone can make a wrong decision, but nothing can be done.

“I can read faces, and I will be happy.”

Life moves on for all with ups and downs, whether you fail to read faces rightly or wrongly. You need to be clear in how you will handle the situation and move on in life.
