I feel the best learning one can learn is from the nature.
The trees
The hills and the mountains
The rivers and seas
The flowers
The insects and the tiny and big animals
If we can spare time from our supposed to be a ‘ busy life’, and sit and watch the beautiful sky at dawn or at twilight and see the calmness of the sky, we can understand, after a storm comes some calmness.
The whole day the sky is disturbed by the birds flying all over, the clouds moving around and at times shaping themelves into various forms and at times , they look like some animals. At night the sky gets calm and if the stars and the moon shine all over the sky, we can sit back on our leaning chair and enjoy the beautiful view of hues over the sky and relax and calm our minds.
When we open our windows in the morning, we see many early birds spreading their wings and looking for prey and food for their small cute babies in the nests on the trees near by, our mind fills with happiness and we learn how any parent cares for their children.
Come Summer arrives, we see the small little
ants, striding along the window panes, and around any sweets kept and how
meticulously they pick up food and hide them in that tiny holes for the rainy season. We should teach our children since childhood to watch those ants or any butterfly or any insects and learn how hard they work and save food , without wasting any time.
We visit the river side and sit or stroll and enjoy the constant flowing of the river. What do we learn? One should keep moving in life whatever may be the season , the life should move on like the flowing river.
We go to the Hills to relax from the busy city life and sit on the
chair in the balcony and enjoy the far away hills and watch the snow covered hills and the long trees all around, do we wonder why the hills are not melting?
What do we learn? The hills are strong and firm even though it has to face severe storm in different seasons. Are we ready to face the challenges we undergo in our lives with ease and move on?
The cute Sparrows or the Mynas who knock at the window panes, and look at you so cutely and eagerly and request you to feed them. They know the timing and come and wait daily. They teach us discipline to follow timing and wait for the reward? (Food)
What does a pet or a street dog whom you feed daily teach us?
To be faithful and be there, to help at any given time.
God has created this world with a lot of beautiful things. It is our duty to enjoy and to protect them.
Unnecessarily cutting the trees for the development, create trouble, but if it is done with care, it would be productive.
Let us enjoy and be among nature whenever it is possible.
When you feel low, silently if you walk to a park or to a near a beach and take a stroll or sit quietly, one gets some peace of mind.
These are my views. Some may agree and some disagree.
