Envy is a very disturbing word . Envying can spoil one’s life completely. Meenu and Kamini were twin sisters. Each individual’s features are determined by many factors like genes, and God’s creation. It is not in a parent’s hands how a child will look like. The parents do not diffenciate among their kids.
Meenu the elder sister was a slightly dark completed girl but her eyes were sparkling which was her plus point. Kamini comparatively was fair looking and taller than her sister. Her nose was a bit longer and she was attractive. They loved each other and played together. They moved together.
But society , we all know takes the pleasure of teasing the others by pointing their drawbacks. Meenu had to listen to the taunts
Like, ‘ Hey look, look at the black beauty is on her way with her sister white lily.”
Kamini tries to protect her sister and gives them a stern look and moves on.
But Meenu started to be aloof and stopped eating and studying. She was a good student better than her sister Kamini.
Her parents tried to make her understand , ” Sweetie, you are the most lovely and loving daughter of ours. Stop listening to the others and believe in yourself. “
But Meenu was envious of Kamini, as all praised her more than her. This envy engulfed her mental health. The parents decided to take her to a Phycologist. Her treatment continued for two months and slowly she understood her value and started to feel good about herself.
She got her confidence and started her normal and attended school and did well in her studies and loved her sister. She could face the friends and the society .
She accepted her looks and was proud of her eyes. She advised her friends not to envy the others
and feel blessed of the things God has gifted you and they would be happy.
Envying harms everything , mental peace and health. Learn to be happy and improve upon yourself than envying the others achievements. You could reach your goal in a better way .
Kakini supported her sister very well to come back to normalcy.
Both were happy in their own fields. Meenu was a good singer and later became a famous playback singer.
Kamini became a doctor and was doing well in her field.
Their parents were happy about them.
The neighbours started envying their family now.
Their parents started a You Tube Channel ‘ How to stop envying the others.”
They helped many young kids and adults. They helped people to save their relationships as some relationship were in trouble due to the envy level rising high.
Many thanked their parents to have saved their families.
All is good that ends well.
Meenu and Kamini’s life , was an inspiration to many school and college going children.
Eliminate the word ‘ ENVY’ from your dictionary and enjoy your life well. Good Luck
