Once Again!

once again

Together, they sat, for the first time,

Watching the sun, sink into the ocean,

The sun would be tired!

She said, as she failed to place her lips over his!

The sunset kiss was ruined!

His heart conveyed the message,

With his confused eyes over hers!

A smile was her answer,

For she was worried,

About the lies, her throat holds.

I’m afraid, my parents will be waiting for me,

She said, as she stood up,

And walked the way to her home.

He smiled as he opened his eyes,

Just to see their photographs,

Hung in their living room!

Death will join us once again,

He said, as he shut his eyes again,

To continue the dream,

The dream, that invited him to death,

And they met, and lived happily ever after,

While the whole family wondered,

Why is grandpa, not awake yet!
