
Kalpana was a simple middle-aged woman who was fondly called, the “chef of the family”. She would put her heart into whatever she cooked and would give a healthy twist to dishes making everyone go wow. Whether it was for her husband’s office party or her children’s birthdays, her dishes would fetch lots of compliments for her.
“Why don’t you start a small restaurant”? Everyone would suggest but she always lacked the self-confidence in her to give it a thought.
Once for her son’s school fete, she put up a stall and prepared all healthy signature dishes which grabbed everyone’s attention due to which an exciting opportunity fell into her kitty. She was offered to put up a small canteen in the school.
She was nervous but excited too. She gathered confidence and with the support of her loving family she agreed to the proposal.
Kalpana’s Kitchen soon became the talk of the town.
