It’s 8 p.m. now, in a couple of hours, the clock will strike 12, and then there will be a loud cheer to WELCOME the YEAR 2023.

Oh, such an amazing and eventful year 2022 was. Just a year ago on 31st December 2021, people eagerly waited to welcome 2022. But now this year’s about to pass away like all previous years.

2022 will remain special for all of us, as we were about to experience normalcy since the lockdown period of the pandemic. We were tired of staying indoors during the festive times of Christmas and New Year.

Sure, things started to pick up late last year and by God’s grace, it remained fine throughout the year 2022. People interacted with each other and traveled like never before as if freed from some chains.

The lost confidence was partly due to the vaccine doses the majority of the population benefited from. Once-deserted airports, railway stations, markets, parks, and streets now looked happily crowded.

Apart from many tragedies, both natural and man-made, that took away scores of lives, the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war is a big spoiler this year. Hope the tragedies don’t repeat and the war ends soon in 2023.

The year saw the rise of the triumph of Indian athletes in the U.K. Commonwealth Games. The year also saw the selection of the first tribal lady as the President of India. These are the best highlights of 2022.

Let’s pray for a peaceful, prosperous, and promising 2023, that brings the best of health and happiness in everyone’s lives.

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR  2023
