The Momma Clan and Ved Institute of Performing Arts Ignite Global Virtual Creative Landscape

December 2025

The literary and artistic world recently witnessed a vibrant new chapter unfold with the successful debut of Kala-Edios-Scribe 2025: Virtual Art & Literature Festival. Organized collaboratively by The Momma Clan and Ved Institute of Performing Arts, this six-day digital extravaganza, held from 10th Dec to 15th Dec, brought together budding talents, seasoned experts, and passionate enthusiasts from across the globe, truly embodying its name – a celebration of Art (Kala), Ideas (Edios), and Writing (Scribe).

A Vision Brought to Life:

From the outset, Kala-Edios-Scribe 2025 aimed to be more than just another online event. It aspired to create a dynamic, inclusive space for exploration, learning, and expression. The overwhelming participation across all categories and sessions stands as a testament to the organizers’ vision and the enduring power of creativity.

The Future of Storytelling Unpacked

The festival kicked off with an illuminating Panel Discussion on “The Next Chapter: Authorship, Authenticity, and AI’s Integrity.” Esteemed panelists delved into the evolving landscape of creative writing, navigating the promises and challenges presented by artificial intelligence. Their profound insights offered a crucial framework for understanding how human creativity can not only co-exist but thrive alongside technological advancements. The engaging dialogue set a high intellectual bar for the days to follow, captivating an audience eager to explore these timely themes.

Bridging Disciplines – The Art-Literature Nexus

Another captivating Cultural Panel Discussion, “Literature and Art: Its Interdependence and Correlation,” took center stage. This session beautifully articulated how the written word and visual expression are not merely complementary but deeply intertwined, each breathing life into the other. Experts explored historical and contemporary examples, showcasing the symbiotic relationship that enriches our cultural tapestry and inspires creators to transcend traditional boundaries.

Nurturing Talent through Workshops

A cornerstone of Kala-Edios-Scribe was its commitment to skill development, which was dedicated to hands-on learning, featuring a series of interactive workshops led by accomplished mentors. Participants, from budding writers to aspiring artists, immersed themselves in various creative disciplines. These sessions provided practical tools, constructive feedback, and invaluable personal guidance, empowering attendees to hone their craft and unlock new creative potentials. The mentors’ passion for teaching ignited a spark in many, promising a brighter future for Indian art and literature.

The Voices of Tomorrow – Open Mic & Spot Writing Challenge

The festival’s energy reached its peak during the Open Mic and Spot Writing competitions, where raw creativity took center stage.

The Voices & Vibes Open Mic was a vibrant display of spoken-word artistry, as performers brought their original verses to life with passion and poise. Complementing this was the Spot Writing challenge- Quill Sprint, a rigorous test of wit and imagination that pushed participants to weave compelling narratives within a tight timeframe. Together, these events highlighted the incredible ability of our participants to think on their feet and express profound ideas with spontaneity and grace.

Literary Engagement

The festival also served as a vibrant hub for live literary engagement. Attendees were treated to a special live book launch featuring Dr. Arwa Saifi, adding a layer of prestige and celebration to the event. The momentum continued with an exclusive author meet-and-greet with Lusi Suryani, where the dialogue between the author and the community further underscored the festival’s commitment to fostering a deep connection through the written word.

Literary & Cultural Showcase

A standout feature of the festival was the Virtual Fair, a curated digital space that served as a grand showcase for burgeoning global talent. This immersive platform hosted a rich array of literary and cultural exhibits, allowing visitors to explore the diverse works of authors and artists from across the globe. By bridging the gap between traditional exhibitions and modern technology, the fair provided a unique, accessible window into the creative soul of the festival, celebrating the seamless harmony between our cultural roots and a future-forward digital medium.
