Blindly cutting down the trees in the forest and now in the name of development, is this useful or moving towards disaster?
Cutting down the trees for development, is affecting the animals also. They are moving to the cities to look for their prey.. They are attacking children, and people and entering many societies. If people do not notice them on time, there could be havoc.
In my younger years when we visited Pune, there were so many trees on both the sides of the roads and less traffic. We used to love walking on the streets.
When we lived there in 90s, OMG! What an unimaginable change that city has become. Wherever we went, we could see concrete jungle all over the city of a beautiful Pune, I have seen.
Recently when we visited Pune this February, we were shocked to see there are hardly any trees on the road side.
Yes, I agree as the population is increasing tremendously and there is a need of development, for more schools, colleges, hospitals and Airports and Rail lines.
So land acquiring is a must and for this, some cutting down of forest and trees in the cities is needed.
Now flyovers and Metros are sprouting up in many many cities and a lot of trees are being cut and due to this…
- Inconvenience is caused to school going children as they get struck by the traffic.
- Inconvenience to the elders crossing the road.
- Ambulance get struck in traffic and many patients loose their life.
- People miss their flights and get depressed.
In conclusion, it is upto us to decide this deforestation for development is justified or not?
It could be Yes or No
Individual choice.
Yes sadly many village people are relocated and they are paid amount for that.
Development is needed, and many advantages and disadvantages one has to face.
We have to be ready for good and bad effect on cutting trees.
These are my personal observation and it may vary from people to people.
People do protest when trees are cut but slowly it dies down and they take it as it is needed for development
Due to cutting of trees the water level in underground lessens and due that water problems arise.
The Global warming is talked about.
All due to the change made in nature by humans.
Let us save our Earth!
