The Momma Clan

Rohan reached home late one day after a hard day’s work. After relaxing, he thought of sleeping for a while and was about to flung himself on the bed when the mobile rang.  It was a call from his Senior officer, “ Rohan , please rush to the spot immediately in Andheri area.” He briefed Rohan about a double murder and gave the address and asked him to start investigating that case. The murder happened at Flat no, 1100. and report to him soon.

It was Boss’s order and so Rohan picked up his Yamaha mobile and rode to that spot. There was a huge crowd gathered in the complex as many residents after knowing the double murder were waiting for the police to arrive and let them know the case.

Rohan with his two officers who were there at the spot reached the flat and started observing and checking each corner and the things. 

They found two young girls lying dead with blood all over the bed and were holding their hands. Their throats were slit. The photographer clicked pictures from all the angles and the things scattered in that room. 

The cupboard was open and the samans were on the floor.

The girls mobile were taken , The Forensic team arrived and later their parents were informed. They were in Bandra area and so reached quickly and were shocked and wailed seeing the condition of the bodies

The bodies were sent for Post-mortem.

Meanwhile Rohan enquired the neighbours and the watchman. 

The neighbours told them two girls had come to their house before the murder was discovered. They heard loud noise and argument from that house. They were used to such incidents and so never bothered.

They saw the two girls rushing out of that flat. They looked happy. The watchman told they came regularly and so he never suspected them and they thought all were friends.

Rohan found some strange photos of the two girls in their mobiles, hugging and kissing each other and some photos in some odd postures. He felt they were Lesbians.

He checked to see the last calls to them. Two girls names were there who had called them , half an hour before their death time , reported by the Forsenic.

He asked the police to trace them by the numbers and found them living in a working hostel. When the team rushed to nab them for investigation, they were packing their bags to flee.

They were arrested and taken to the police station. At first as usual they claimed innocent but after a severe treatment by women police officer, they  revealed that they  had requested those girls to comply with them to their strange needs but when the girls declained their offer, after an argument, in a fit of anger , they had a fight and killed them with kitchen knife and hid it under the sink.

The knife was found. Their parents had disowned them when they came to know they were Lesbians, They were depressed persons and were under drugs too.

All happened under the influence of drugs . The Forensic Report claimed them guilty and a case was filed against them.

They were produced in front of a Magistrate and after four to five hearings, they were declared guilty of killing their friends in a fit of jealosy.

They were given a severe punishment of Life Imprisonment.

How gruesome it could be .Do we blame the Drugs or the upbringing or the disownment by their parents?

What about the plight of those four girls?

It is a sad such things happening in the society

Rohan had never seen or handled such cases in his life- term. 

He was praised by his Seniors to solve the case within a short time.
