Who has created the two genders, the man and the woman?
God of course, for a purpose. Each gender plays the role he or she has been here in this world. Without each other, a new life cannot come in this world then, why there is a big hulla gulla over Gender Equality?
In olden days, the importance to a boy was much more than in the present years. The family believed a boy would uplift the family name and carry the next generation, will look after their elders in their later years.” Beta naam kamayega”
The girls were given toys like dolls and the kitchen set thinking that the girls have to bring up kids and cook for the family.
The boys were educated further than the girls. ” Shaddi karkhe jaana hain, why study more.?”
As the years rolled out, the unit families were more. Many moved out of a joint family and the thinking changed. The girls were educated equally like the boys and they started shining brighter than the boys.
One could see girls and women getting an opportunity in various fields.
Of late all the Service like the Army, the Navy and the Airforce , a lot of women are appointed.They are out shining men.
Women are holding higher Posts in the Police and in the Government
Our President is a women now, a proud moment.
In Sports many women are in the fore_ front. They win a lot of games in Cricket and in Hockey.
But the question in my mind is, are these achievements , we can call gender equality?
At the present Digital World, when we can access to any information by the click of the mouse, are women still safe on this world?
In our time 70 years ago, the girls were to reach home after playing by 7 pm but the boys were allowed to be out more time. We used to question our parents why this gender partiality?
They used to say, ” When you grow up, you would know, the girls have to be careful.”
The social media or TV was not that popular like nowadays. So even if cases like Rape and other atrocities on women were not highlighted and were hussed up.
As we are stepping into a lot of Social Media, everything is open and from a small child to any senior citizen , any topic is discussed wildly.
People love to dig and have fun in serious topics like Rape and Murder so easily
Is it not a shame instead of finding out a way to co trol and find out how to stop all these happening to the female genders mostly, they chit_ chat via so many media.
It is not Male Genders are not victimised but that is not wildly discussed or run into a court case.
The female are asked so many unwanted questions even there is a proof. The witnesses are bought and the case is prolonged over years. In very rare cases, the justice is right.
What sort of Gender Equality one
Expects, the freedom to speak their mind, to earn respect in the society and to lead a respectful lives.
When one reads and hears the cases of cruelty met to a women, protests occur but anyone think of the parents mental condition or the victim’s torture and trauma?
I pray for that day, when we all men and women can walk and move freely at any given time and work mentally free from any torment or
Rape happening.
No abusment on any gender and and all are treated equally.
I am praying to the Lord for such a day for the future generation.
Any gender child can be self _ reliant and bold enough to walk around to go to their school , college or to work.
The parents can be free of worries.
Can we hope in the near future such days?
Let us all rise up to the situation and raise our voices on injustice.
Hoping for a bright future. I hope the mind do not get disturbed reading a sad news.
