A MAIDEN’S LOVE

He exudes a masculinity

In an uniqueness all his own

Muscle flex air pump

No, not needed to be shown.

What woman needs display

Of, man’s boorish forte?

Strong, affluently guarded

Shall have her hand awarded.

Does not amorous Peacock

Strut teal-green plume beauty:

Fanning and not fighting

To insure his courting duty?

A wave without an ocean

Hast no undulating motion;

And, Skipper denied a crew

Is as useless as a raindrop with

no dew.

Sing to her sweet nothings

Strum a note or two on lute;

What is a more virile scene

Than he who works at suit?

A maiden’s love is won

Not by power or by gun,

But, thru robust review

Of, thy heart’s internal muse.
