We must be supremely grateful to our ancestors who were the founders of Holi, the colorful, vibrant, and most wonderful of all the festivals in the Indian subcontinent.
Each of the seven colors radiates warmth and positivity. Some are mild, while a few of them are intense in their expression. For example, the color blue induces calmness, whereas the red color exudes passion.
We play Holi utilizing all the colors to depict the colors of nature and our loving emotions. Generally, dry powdered colors are applied to each other to show our affection. But at times we also mix the colors in the water and playfully splash on one another. Only the daring ones do that.
Well, this festival teaches us to remove past differences or forge new friendships with the people we are surrounded with. Together, we all create a peace-loving, happy, harmonious, and wonderful society, where everyone thrives.
