Stepping out of the home

Leaving behind his mom

Not worrying about his health

For the country, sacrificing his breath 

His only resolution

For mother land give his contribution

And till the end fight to save constitution

On being instructed by the mother

“Take care of yours, my son”

The son replied “am born

Not to take care of myself but the country rather”

How to make that wife understand

Who made her man leave the house

To fulfill his duties for mother land 

Being unaware that while fighting for others , 

her happiness will be lost forever

with the life of her spouse 

Some were martyred in Kargil war

After all brave soldiers they are 

No less is the bravery of martyrs of Pulwama attack 

for their sacrifices we can’t pay back
