 My Daddy
 My Daddy

I recall hiding in your lap,
On a cold winter morning.

I recall going on a walk with you,
Holding your finger that evening.

I was conceived in your blood, and I grew up under your reign.

I saw the reflection of life and the dream of victory in your perspiration.

On a cold winter night, I always find warmth in your chest, and on a hot summer afternoon, I always find coolness in your shade.

With my head bowed in the dust of your feet, I travel down the path of life.

You are the sailor of my life’s boat;
You are my friend in my hundred wounds.

You are courage, you are motivation;
You are a waking bird in my morning.

You are respect, you are love;
You are my life’s promise of war!

Every cell in my body has the imprints of your existence…..
Dad, my soul loves you very much.

You decorate my life with the arms of love;

I discover the taste of living my life in your ideal personality.

You have embraced me with affection, caress and love.
