Let there no withered Roses or Violets- An aureate cage

An aureate cage
An aureate cage
Let there no withered Roses or Violets- An aureate cage by Ashu Verma Chaubey
An aureate cage
An aureate cage

The fairy-lights of his love trapped her
Her dreams, she envisaged with him

Little did she realise
An aureate cage embellished with diamonds
Sparkling like a thousand stars
Was his love
His vows of a happy life deluded her
And believing in him, she entered his Golden hell
Thus encaging her luck

Every night was dark thereafter
Every dawn she faced a fierce squall

Every dawn she faced a fierce squall
Lightenings struck her not once but like recurrant thunderstorms
Every moment of her life she endured his sting
Blues covered her curvy slender body inch by inch

The blues covered her fair-skinned body inch by inch
But his desire to torment and scurge still wasn’t fulfilled

He wounded her beyond the depths of her skin
Fondling those wounds her heart would continously bleed
The blood stealthily oozing out through her eyes
Dismantled her last wish to survive
A worn and torn rag she became
She could breakdown anytime
So fragile her delicate body seemed

And the day she could bear no more
She reacted in resillience
But sadly she was too feeble
To protest against him
He countered in vengeance vicious
And there she lay unconscious

He snapped back in vengeance vicious
And there she finally lay unconscious
Thus withered one more pure graceful violet
Reacting to the acid of domestic violence

Let this story not become
Of mine, of yours or anybody else

Let us all get together
To stand up and crush
The hood of this serpent venomous
