A Scrumptious ApplePie

I eat food to just make my mom feel happy.

I don’t like to eat and put on weight.

I too say the other…

The love-hate relationship of food

The opinions sound crazy and endless

As such many dishes of various cuisines.

Ah! This recipe is more palatable

The most desirable

Juicy burgers, slippery noodles

Squeaky halloumi, buttery caramel candy.

The England  Apple pie is no less.

Its primary filling ingredient is apple.

It is served with whipped cream.

It is double-crusted with pastry both above and below the fillings

The upper crust may be solid

The bottom  crust baked separately

Let’s it prevent from getting soggy

Whose apple pie is that? I think I know.

Its owner is quite happy though.

Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,

Four hours before daylight -I watch her laugh.

She made umpteen attempts to make it spectacularly sturdy.

I watched her cry – it was just a tad boring in the midst of making it.

She gives her apple pie a shake,

And laughs until her belly aches.

The only other sound’s the break,

Of distant waves and birds awake.

The apple pie is mouthwatering, creamy, luscious, and deep,

But she has promises to keep,

After cake and lots of sleep.

Sweet dreams come to her cheap.

She rises from her gentle bed,

With thoughts of its mountain of goodness

She eats her jam with lots of bread.

Ready for the day ahead.

And unremarkable mornings.

Happy World food day!
