What is Navratri?

Navratri is the festival that mainly Gujarati celebrates by praying to their Goddess Ambe Mata. It is considered an important sacred festival in the Hindu religion. Navratri is celebrated by worshipping Goddess Durga and her various forms which are the epitomes of power and have the ability to bring in anything desired.

Navratri is mainly celebrated from Pratipada on the first day to Navami or the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. This time the great grand and spiritual festival of Navratri will start on Monday, September 26, and will be celebrated till October 5, Wednesday.

Significance of Navratri

The saints have given more importance to this festival. To understand it scientifically, here are a few examples, the night is peaceful and quiet, and tantra-mantra and other supernatural things are in a strong position. It’s easy to get concentrated at the night. Chanting mantras in a peaceful environment gives you positive vibes and automatically gives you auspicious results. Many obstacles of nature are removed just by chanting the mantras of Goddess Durga. This time helps us to gain mental peace, and power and gives us energy and courage to live life happily.

By performing rituals, not only gives us mental peace but also relaxes our minds. As it’s good for our health, it also makes God happy that there are some people who care for me. Otherwise, there are some people in this world, who don’t believe in God and neither think that God exists around us. They just believe in what they see and as you all know that we can’t see God through our eyes in real life but we can feel them whenever we want them just have to call them from our inner souls.

Some people worship God for their own sake. They just need their work to be done instead of others. They feel that their problems are much bigger than the other ones. But it’s not like that. God will always be there with us, and will always support us.

Thank you readers, I hope you’ll like my blog. Soon my new blogs related to Navratri will be uploaded so stay tuned!!!
