“Those who have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness” – Edward Stanley.

A Balanced Approach To Health

Each and every person has some daily basic tasks to do like bathing, sleeping, and eating. Eating is the most important among them. Without eating you cannot do any other tasks properly because for doing any kind of task or work you need energy and that energy comes from the food that we eat. Yes, we can live without food but for a few days only not more than that.

Now the main question arises that only eating food is enough to live a happy and healthy life. And the answer is no. For a proper lifestyle, we need not only food but also need balanced diet/nutrition food.

Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins, Vitamins, and Minerals are not just words. They are the basic need of our body which can be fulfilled in the form of food. Carbohydrates and protein provide us with energy. Vitamins and Minerals make our immune system work properly and fight against several diseases. People need small amounts of various vitamins. A group of these vitamins, such as vitamin C, are also antioxidants. Our body needs all of these in an appropriate composition which means a Balanced and Nutrition diet.

Balance of Nutrients
Balance of Nutrients

The right balance of nutrients in your diet is of prime importance to avoid the risk of developing certain health conditions. When you choose to follow a specific diet focusing on certain foods and avoiding others, you may need to plan carefully to ensure you obtain all the necessary vitamins to maintain your health.

In simple words, food acts as a fuel for our body to run you cannot put petrol in a diesel car or diesel in a petrol car. Each and every machinery has its own requirements. Similarly, every body is different from each other. The food requirements vary from person to person. It depends on several factors like age, work profile, and health conditions. For example, a pregnant and lactating woman needs more iron and vitamin intake in order to lead healthy pregnancy and fulfilling the nutrition needs of the baby. During pregnancy baby’s development depends on the health of the mother as the baby gets essential nutrients from the mother through the feed.

Nowadays it become very common that people are dependent on packed foods a lot which is not at all healthy. This in turn leads to many problems like health issues, depression, and anxiety problems. As the well-known saying goes, a Healthy mind stays in a healthy body. We should not only focus on eating food to satisfy hunger, we need to focus on a healthy and balanced diet. A nutritional diet includes green leafy vegetables, pulses, and fruits.

Satvik Diet
Satvik Diet- A Balanced Approach To Health

In ancient times people follow satvik diet which includes all these things. They used to live longer period and without any health issues and complications. To increase energy, happiness, calmness, and mental clarity, satvik food is highly recommended. They used to live healthy and sound life as they give importance to nutritional food. Health they say always comes first. We need to find time for ourselves and analyze the need of our bodies.

Not only taking a balanced diet important but the most important is to make a proper schedule for food. Food timings should be strictly followed. Nutritional diet is better than the medicine we need to understand these things. What we need to do is to move to a healthy diet. It doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing proposition.

You don’t have to completely eliminate foods you enjoy, and you don’t have to change everything all at once, in short, don’t have to be perfect—that usually only leads to cheating or giving up on your new diet plan. Even if you follow diet charts prepared by a nutritionist it also has the option of cheat days. As we are human beings for change we sometimes craved junk food. So if you maintain a balanced diet you can also enjoy outside food as well. Eat well and live well this must be the motto of our life.
